HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 15, 2025) – The annual benefit for funding free non-emergency flights to medical facilities for the needy is set for Saturday.
The Wings of Mercy CareAffaire and Runway 5 K is set for West Michigan Regional Airport. From 8 AM to 12 Noon, this free event not only spotlights National Aviation Day, but also raises funds for the non-profit service, according to Wings of Mercy’s Grace Spelde.
Those activities include a Young Eagles Rally to have youngsters take plane rides, a classic car show, flyovers by the Hooligans vintage plane team, and much more. An online link to more information, including registration for the 5K run and the rally, is here.
