Kyle Allen threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns, the second one coming with 45 seconds left in the third quarter – a one-yard strike to Jackson Meeks – as the Lions beat the Falcons in preseason play at Atlanta last night, 17-10. The game ended at the 6:31 mark of the fourth quarter, when Detroit defensive back Morice Norris was stretchered off and hospitalized with a head injury. He was listed in stable condition at an Atlanta hospital overnight. The Lions host the Miami Dolphins at Ford Field next Saturday afternoon, with broadcast time at 12 Noon on 99 7/1450 WHTC.
