SALEM TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 3, 2025) – Three persons were hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash south of Burnips on Saturday night.
No names were disclosed by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office as first responders were dispatched to the intersection of 136th Avenue and 30th Street around 9:30 PM. That what was where a westbound pickup truck apparently drove through a stop sign and slammed into a southbound sedan. Two persons in the truck, along with the driver of the sedan, were injured and taken to unnamed “local area hospitals” for treatment.
Speed and alcohol both appeared to be factors in the collision, which remains under investigation.
