HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 30, 2025) – As a new academic year nears, Hope College has its overseeing team in place.
On Tuesday, the Holland school of higher education announced three new members of the Board of Trustees, along with some changes in the leadership of that panel. Appointed to three-year terms were the Rev. Dr. Jonathon Brown, Jeannie Cunnion and Phillip Torrence, while Lisa Joldersma and John Soderstrom were reelected to serve a second term. Stepping down are Dr. Stephen Boerigter and Carol Van Andel, with Brett VanderKamp taking over for Boerigter as the Board Chairman for the next four years. Tommy Gordon is the new vice chairman through 2027, succeeding Dr. Matthew Wixson at that post.
Classes begin at Hope College on August 25th.
