Brian Busscher, age 63 of Holland passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, after an 18-month battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Karen, his children and grandchildren, Jason Busscher, Rebecca and Adam Kipfmiller (Silas, Addison, Theo), Melissa and John Clark (Josephine, and soon to be born Elias); his father Melvin Busscher and Dawn Folkert; his brothers, Doug and Kay Busscher, Craig and Vicky Busscher, his sister-in-law Ronda Busscher, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bruce and Elizabeth Matthews, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Rodney and Denise Matthews, Roger and Lynn Matthews, Carol and Tom Hochhalter, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Busscher, and his brother Mike Busscher.
Brian graduated from Holland Christian High School, Ferris State, and Grand Valley State. He worked at Prince Corporation, Johnson Controls, Crown Motors, Fox Motors and then he started ThesisTech. Brian was a member of Christ Memorial Church.
Brian was a loving and devoted husband, and father but he especially loved being a grandpa. He enjoyed talking to people and making them laugh, and playing euchre. Brian had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior that he passed on to his kids and grandkids.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. The funeral service to honor the life of Brian will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 11, 2025, in the sanctuary at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road. Interment will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to World Renew or Compassion International
