MARNE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jun. 17, 2025) – Fair season is underway along the Lakeshore.
The first of four fairs in Ottawa and Allegan counties is the Berlin Fair in Marne, which has been held since 1856, and at its current location since 1870.
One person who won’t be missing it is commercial farmer and current state Senate Minority Whip Roger Victory of Hudsonville.
While the carnival kicks off Tuesday evening at 5 PM, with a truck and tractor pull a couple of hours later, the 4-H livestock shows began on Monday.
The Berlin Fair runs through Saturday. Later this summer, the Ottawa County Fair is from July 21st through the 26th; the Hudsonville Community Fair from August 18th through the 23rd; and the Allegan County Fair from September 5th through the 13th.
