Burt was born in Cleveland, OH June 12, 1940 to Bert and Dorothy (Doty) Taylor. Burt was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a longtime member of Parkside Bible Church in Holland. He was an avid bowler and golfer; and worked as a truck driver for many years for Holland Motor Express until his retirement. Burt will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons-in-law, Don Kimble and Rick Schultz.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine Taylor; children, Janice Kimble, Sandie Schultz, and Rick (Sally) Taylor; Grandchildren Daniel (Lindsey) Kimble, Lauren (Sam) Hoekstra, Rachel Schultz, Sarah Schultz, Kyle (Jena) Taylor, and Becky Taylor; Great grandchildren, Nora, Liam, Livia, Maxine, Callie, Elijah, and Lexi; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Burt’s life will be 11:00am Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Parkside Bible Church, 14461 James St., Holland.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the services Wednesday at Parkside Church.
