Dale E. Sabin, our precious brother, passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025 at Resthaven Care Center in Holland at age 83.
Dale would have a big smile for those who came to see him and often would giggle at things that struck him as humorous. He could remember everybody’s name, birthdate dates, and historical events whether it be political or something significant that happened in his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Julia (Swainston) Sabin, nephew Kevin Sabin, sisters-in-law Phyllis Sabin and Mary Hunt.
Dale is survived by his siblings: brothers: Ken Sabin, and Ron (Patricia) Sabin; sister: Lorraine (David) Weigel; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Dykstra Funeral Homes – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Chaplain Sarah DeHaan will be officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
