Four Hope College men’s golfers have claimed All-MIAA honors for the 2024-25 season.
Senior Will Webb and junior Liam Casey received All-MIAA First Team accolades. Junior Patrick Michael and freshman Will Thomas earned All-MIAA Second Team distinction.
The teammates helped the Flying Dutchmen win an MIAA championship for the third consecutive time with their efforts last fall and this spring.
All-MIAA honors are determined by golfers’ finishes in the individual standings. The lowest eight averages make the All-MIAA First Team, and the next eight are the All-MIAA Second Team.
Casey (Northville, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central HS) is a three-time All-MIAA First Team honoree. The business major shot 72.17 over 108 holes of league play and finished one stroke off the overall lead. Casey fired a 4-under-par 67 at Zollner Golf Course on Sept. 10.
Webb (Lake Forest, Illinois / Lake Forest) repeated as an All-MIAA First Team selection. The communication major averaged 73.0 strokes over six league rounds, including two 2-under-par 70s: Wuskowhan Players Club on Sept. 30 and Tecumseh Golf Club on Oct. 12.
Michael (Carmel, Indiana / Carmel) claimed his second career All-MIAA recognition; the communication major was All-MIAA First Team as a freshman. Michael finished 10th in the league standings with a 74.83 average.
Thomas (Portage, Michigan / Portage Central) earned his first All-MIAA accolade after shooting 75.17 during the league season and placing 11th.
