Three sophomores on the Hope College men’s tennis team have claimed All-MIAA recognition for the 2025 season: Cooper Nugent, Ned Curley and Paul Schneider.
Nugent (Rochester Hills, Michigan / Rochester Adams HS) is one of six first-team selections.
Curley (Plymouth, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central) and Schneider (Fishers, Indiana / Hamilton Southeastern) are two of six second-team recipients.
All three helped the Flying Dutchmen finish runner-up in the MIAA with a 6-1 league record.
Nugent claimed his first All-MIAA accolade after posting a 5-2 singles record at the top flight. The German major went 5-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Curley earned his first All-MIAA distinction after recording a 5-2 mark at No. 2 singles and a 4-3 mark at No. 1 doubles.
Schneider repeated as an All-MIAA Second Team selection after going 6-1 at No. 3 singles and in doubles matches. Schneider primarily played the No. 3 doubles flight, winning five of his six matches there.
