HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 10, 2025) – It’s day nine of the 96th Tulip Time Festival, as Holland’s annual signature event reaches it’s climax on this Saturday.
The schedule begins at 8 AM with the Tulip Immersion Garden at Beechwood Church (895 Ottawa Beach Rd.). Historic Walking Tours from Window on the Waterfront Park (71 East 6th St.) start a half hour later. At 10 AM, the Quilt Show is in the Midtown Center (96 West 15th St.), while the viewers’ choice award, conducted during the Art in Bloem Fine Art Exhibit, will be presented in the Holland Area Arts Council building (150 East 8th St.).
The Skerbeck Carnival opens in the parking lot of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place (150 West 8th St.) at 11 AM, Dutch Dancing is on 8th Street, beginning at 1 PM, and the Quality Car Wash Volksparade steps off from East 8th Street and Columbia Avenue at 2 PM. Audio coverage of the parade with Dan Evans and Bryan Spencer begins at 1:30 PM on 99 7/1450 WHTC.
Dutch Dancing returns to 8th Street at 6:30 PM, while an evening of festivities at Kollen Park (240 Kollen Park Dr.) starts at 5:30 PM until the fireworks (in partnership with Latin Americans United for Progress) are shot over Lake Macatawa at dusk.
