Junior Amanda Lopykinski, freshman Hadley Krygier and senior Sullivan Moran spearheaded another unbeaten run through the MIAA for the Hope College women’s tennis team.
All three also earned All-MIAA First Team accolades for the 2025 MIAA regular-season champions, with Lopykinksi repeating as the MIAA’s Most Valuable Player.
Lopykinski (Lemont, Illinois / Lemont Township HS) is the fifth from Hope to earn the distinction more than once, joining Sydney Jackson (2021-22), Anneliese Fox (2004-06), Audrey Coates (1995-97) and Colleen Sandro (1986, 1988).
It is the 21st season a Flying Dutch tennis player has been selected as MIAA MVP.
This season, Lopykinski went 7-1 in conference matches at No. 1 singles and 8-0 at No. 1 doubles with Moran (Birmingham, Michigan / Wylie E. Groves). This is Lopykinski’s third All-MIAA First Team selection.
Krygier (White Lake, Michigan / Walled Lake Northern) went undefeated in MIAA play this season, going 5-0 at No. 2 singles and 5-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Moran won all of her singles matches, going 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 5-0 at No. 3 singles. This is Moran’s fourth All-MIAA First Team honor, making her the seventh from the Flying Dutch to accomplish the feat. Moran joins Nancy Benda (2014-17), Samantha Stille (2006-09), Anneliese Fox (2003-06), Audrey Coates (1994-97), Becky Lucas (1994-97) and Kim Baxter (1984-87) as Hope’s four-time All-MIAA recipients.
