Larry was a member of Immanual Church. He was severely injured in an automobile accident Homecoming night of his Senior year at Hamilton High School. From that point until his death, he would suffer the effects of these injuries. He is now reunited with his parents Leon and Herena Dubbink. Larry was able to enjoy time spent with family on many vacations and cruises. He will be remembered for always having a positive attitude in life even through his physical struggles. Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his siblings, Randy (Joni) Dubbink, Bob (Belva) Dubbink, Kathy (Norm) Sankey, Rick (Mary) Dubbink; nieces and nephews, Dennis Langland, Kristi (Ted) Patrick, Jamie (Dan) Rix, Aimee (Jeremy) Wieber, Mike (Allie) Dubbink, Kim (Dan) Stafford, Jon Sankey, Josh (Leah) Sankey; great nieces Morgan, Savi, Abby, Lydia, Esther, Maizee, Kinzlee, Jocie, Emmi, Maddie, Sophie; great nephews Grady, Manny, Noah, Jack, Lincoln; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
A visitation time to celebrate Larry’s life will be Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 12-2:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
Private burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family would life to extend a heartfelt thank you to Douglas Cove and Gentiva Hospice for their care and assistance during Larry’s time with them.
