ALLENDALE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 18, 2025) – Two motorists in their 20’s were injured in a collision between a sedan and a motorcycle at the western edge of the Grand Valley State University main campus in Allendale on Thursday evening.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chad Coulson following the incident around 7:20 PM. It appears that the sedan, driven by a 20-year-old Kalamazoo woman, was northbound on 48th Avenue, and in the process of completing a Michigan U-Turn near West Campus Drive, was rear-ended by the motorcycle, ejecting its rider, a 22-year-old Pentwater man. They were both taken by LIFE ambulance staffers to undisclosed medical facilities for treatment of what was described as minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
