DORR TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 18, 2025) – The search is on for a 26-year-old man wanted on several warrants who caused a ruckus at a residence near Dorr on Friday morning.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office doesn’t believe that Brandon Arlan Ras-Devries is any threat to the general public, although he purportedly was “disorderly” and “recklessly discharged a firearm” when deputies, along with officers from Gun Lake Tribal and Wayland police departments, and Michigan State Police troopers, were dispatched to the area of 21st Street near 142nd Avenue around 10:40 AM. He had fled the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived, and despite establishing a perimeter, as well as deploying a police canine, Ras-Devries eluded capture.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a yellowish-colored baseball cap. It was not disclosed for what reasons Ras-Devries had warrants out for his arrest, or why he isn’t considered to be a threat to the public.
Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Allegan County Central Dispatch (269-673-3899).
