Wayne Geurink, age 75, of Borculo passed away Monday, March 31, 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandy; his children and grandchildren: Kari and Matt Nienhuis (Noelle, Addison, Emma, Scarlett, & Ava), Kristin and Dan Sterk (Mazy), Katelyn and John Jongekrijg (Ellie, Liam & Mya); his brother Terry and Linda Geurink; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Linda Styf, Rick and Sandy Bussis, Mark and Deb Bussis, and Randy Ponstein.
Wayne graduated from Holland Christian High School. He proudly served for 6 years in the Army National Guard. Wayne was a longtime member of Borculo Christian Reformed Church where he served as deacon and elder. Wayne and his brother Terry owned and operated Maple Hill Dairy, a multi-generational farm. Wayne’s greatest passion was to serve his Lord and Savior and help people to know God.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service to honor the life of Wayne will be held at 11 am, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Borculo Christian Reformed Church, 6464 96th Ave, Zeeland. Interment will be in Borculo Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hungry for Christ.
