HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 2, 2025) – Holland’s annual signature event begins one month from Wednesday, and the grand marshals for the two Tulip Time Festival Parades were announced on Monday.
John Shillito, who retired in January after 20 years and five state championships while coaching Zeeland West High’s football program, will lead the Gentex Kinderparade on May 8. Two local organizations – Evergreen Commons and Resthaven – earned this honor for the Quality Car Wash Volksparade two days later on May 10. The Rev. Dr. Jill Ver Steeg and Deedre Schuckert, President and CEO of the these two entities, will represent their respective organizations in the promenade down 8th Street to Kollen Park.
The 96th Tulip Time Festival runs from May 2nd through the 11th.
