Budde, Jane Ann on March 23, 2025. Jane Ann Budde, the loving wife of Harry Budde and devoted mother of Tom (Barb) Budde and Jim Budde, passed on at the age of 89.
Jane was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 26, 1935. She met the love of her life, Harry, in high school and they were married in 1958. Jane was educated at Michigan State University (2 years). After college she worked for the Michigan Board of Education until Tom was born in 1962.
Jane was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Always patient and kind to whoever she met. Her family was the most important thing in the world to her. Her greatest joy in life came from the moments she spent surrounded by her family. In retirement, Harry and Jane enjoyed time in Petoskey, Charlevoix and other parts of northern Michigan. She was a long-time member of Beechwood Reformed Church in Holland.
Mrs. Budde is also survived by her sister Donna Bogert, and grandchildren, Rebecca (Andrew) Vriesema and Matthew Budde.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1st from 6-8 pm at the Dykstra Funeral Homes – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland.. A private family funeral ceremony and entombment will take place at a later date.
