Movie Director to Make Appearance as “Holland” Movie is Screened Locally Tonight

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 24, 2025) – It’s not Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, but a glimpse of Hollywood glitz comes to downtown Holland on Monday evening.

A capacity crowd is expected at the Knickerbocker Theatre for a one-night, pre-release screening of the movie “Holland.” While stars Nicole Kidman and Gael Garcia Barnal won’t be on hand, director Mimi Cave will be there, holding a question-and-answer session, moderated by Mayor Nathan Bocks, beforehand.

Bocks reminds residents that the movie is a dramatic thriller and not a documentary.

And as for concerns that the motion picture could put the city of Holland in a bad light…

“Holland” has a direct-to-streaming global release through Prime Video on Thursday.
