HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 7, 2025) – US House GOP members are reportedly being urged to stop holding in-person town hall events.
Multiple reports say National Republican Congressional Committee chair Richard Hudson told members during a closed-door meeting that Democratic activists are hijacking the town halls. Eight-term Congressman Bill Huizenga of Holland.
Hudson also reportedly told members they can reach more constituents by holding virtual town halls instead.
Huizenga has tele-town halls set for Friday afternoon at 3 PM, focused on senior issues, and another general session on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. An online link for more information and how to participate is here.
