HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 7, 2025) – The first day of spring is still nearly two weeks away on the calendar, but spring cleaning gets underway this weekend in Holland.
Beginning on Sunday, residents can bring some yard waste to the curb for crews to pick up, according to City Manager Keith Van Beek.
Audio PlayerSuch heavy limbs, stumps, large trees, garbage, and refuse in bags will not be removed and must be disposed of by other means. While there may be some passes through neighborhoods over the next month or so, the deadline for placing yard waste on curb sides for the start of a final sweep is Monday, April 7. Those who procrastinate or have issues that arise after these final passes can pick up Project Pride coupons through the City of Holland’s Community and Neighborhood Services office (616-355-1330).
