Grand Valley State split a pair of GLIAC basketball tournament games last night. In Marquette, Jackson Dudek had 17 points as Northern Michigan ended the men’s season at 16-13 with an 85-72 triumph. In Allendale, Rylie Bisballe had 19 points as the women advanced past visiting Michigan Tech, 60-47. The Lakers will host the women’s semifinals and finals this coming weekend, with a Saturday afternoon contest against visiting Wayne State, a 65-52 winner over Parkside, at the Fieldhouse Arena.
In state major-college basketball last night, Michigan lost to Maryland, 71-65. This evening, Michigan State is at Iowa.
