Lyle was born in Holland August 29, 1943 and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy and a member of Holland First. Lyle retired from Donnelly corporation (now Magna) after more than 40 years of service.
Lyle is survived by his wife Wilma of 54 years; children Rick (Brenda) Arens, Tammy Leech, Jerry (Amber Door) Arens, Terry Arens, Christopher (Jennifer) Arens; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany (Andrew) Brown, Vanessa (Robert) Olivarez, Alex Arens, Madison Arens, Kellie Arens, Jacob Arens, Cameron Carlson, Dusty Carlson;
Great grandchildren, Romeo Olivarez and Judah Brown; Special niece Dawn (Gary) Alsip; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Lyle’s life will be 11:00am, Friday, March 7, 2025 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. A brief visitation time will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
