HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 5, 2025) – Unless something drastically changes between now and 6 PM on Wednesday night, it should be a very routine Holland City Council biweekly business meeting.
Most of the items before the governing panel are on the consent agenda. It includes a contract with the Tulip Time Festival for operations during the 96th renewal of Holland’s annual signature event, slated for May 2nd through the 11th. Also on that agenda: A permit for Great Lakes Fireworks to operate the annual fireworks display over Lake Macatawa on Friday, July 4th; purchasing a 2025 Chevy Tahoe Pursuit Vehicle for the Department of Public Safety’s Police Services unit, at a total cost of over $75,000, to replace a damaged vehicle; and allocating nearly $21,000 for three pieces of new cardio gym equipment for the renovated Kollen Park Fire Station.
The biweekly meeting is in Chambers at Holland City Hall (210 S. River Ave.). An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
