Mike was born on September 11,1984 in Traverse City, Michigan. Mike was the cherished youngest son of David and Linda Lintner, Charlevoix, Michigan; he is also survived by his loving siblings Michele (Rob) Morrell of Lowell, Michigan, Nicole (Todd) Wilkie of Buckley, Michigan, David (Amy) Lintner of Clarkston, Michigan and John (Aimee) Lintner of Rockford, Michigan. Mike will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike was a beloved son, known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, dedication to his family, love of animals and extraordinary accomplishments. He loved playing basketball, football, golf and baseball; and also had a love for outdoor sports, including fishing, boating,snowmobiling, and biking. Mike enjoyed many family vacations, and took pride in being an altar boy at Christ The King, Catholic Church, Acme, Michigan.
Mike graduated from Traverse City Central High School. He attended Brevard County Community College in Florida after High School, then attended Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City, Michigan. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree, and went on to build a successful career as an Insurance Loss Control Agent. His career expanded to employment in Florida, Michigan, California, Minnesota and Texas.
A Catholic Mass will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11A.M., St. Marys, Charlevoix, Michigan. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Mike’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at your local Humane Society or the ASPCA.
