ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 27, 2025) – It’s last call to “spread the love” for the Jif, Skippy, Peter Pan and other brands of peanut butter in Allegan County.
The annual Peanut Butter Drive to benefit the Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative concludes on Friday. It’s a six-week-long effort to stock area pantries with this staple of protein for the needy, with a goal of exceeding last year’s totals of over 6,300 jars collected and more than $2,500 raised to purchase an additional 1,600+ jars.
The Collaborative is a program of the Allegan County Community Foundation, whose President and CEO is Stephanie Calhoun.
