HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 5, 2025) – Some additions to what will be the newest crown jewel in Holland are on the agenda for Wednesday night’s City Council meeting.
No details were immediately disclosed, but City Manager Keith Van Beek has set a “placeholder” spot on the rundown for approving a contingency budget concerning the under-construction ice park off of East 6th Street and College Avenue. The spending plan needs to be adjusted to accommodate terracing for the performance area, as well as adding some overhead doors.
A timeline of opening the ice park by next winter is still viable at this point.
The Holland City Council meets in Chambers at Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.), beginning at 6 PM. An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
