KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Another two to five inches of new snow is expected to blanket the the area over the next few days, with the National Weather Service issuing a Winter Weather Advisory for Kalamazoo, Ottawa, Allegan, Calhoun, and Van Buren counties from 8:00 a.m. Friday through 4:00 a.m. Saturday.
The heaviest snow is expected during the day Friday. Forecasters say near the lakeshore and stretching along I-94 toward Kalamazoo is where snow amounts could max out near five inches by Saturday morning.
