Hope College sits in 14th place in The Learfield Directors’ Cup fall standings for NCAA Division III with 242 points.
There were 180 scoring Division III institutions in the first update of the academic year.
Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
The final fall standings for Division I and Division III will be released after the bowl games, FCS Championship and Division III Football Championship in January.
Hope earned points in four sports: volleyball (national semifinals), football (third round), men’s soccer (second round) and men’s cross country (29th place).
Johns Hopkins University (Maryland) tops Division III with 495.5 points.
Hope has finished in the top 70 among NCAA Division III programs each year since the program was started for Division III during the 1995-96 school year. There are more than 400 Division III institutions.
In 2023-24, Hope totaled 622.50 points for 20th place and recorded its third-highest Directors’ Cup finish all-time.
