Jacqueline Elaine Heisler, 80, of Holland, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2024. Jackie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family and community.
A graduate of Albany High School, Drew University, and the University of Nebraska, Jackie’s life’s work was supporting students with special needs in Nebraska, Ohio, and at Hope College. She was a beloved and respected educator and friend to many students and positively impacted their lives.
Jackie’s warm personality and love for companionship made her a treasured friend to many.
She was passionate about sharing stories about her family, traveling with her devoted husband, Jim, and participating in the Hope Church community.
Jackie is survived by her husband Jim, son Daniel, daughter Julie, grandchildren Eden and Logan, and cousin Karen Spoor. Her life was rich with love and meaningful relationships.
A memorial service to celebrate Jackie’s life will be held at Hope Reformed Church on Friday, December 20, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service following at 11:00 a.m. A reception will take place after the service, providing an opportunity for friends and family to share memories and support one another.
