Janet May Matteson, age 90, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024.
Janet was a loving and hardworking mother. She loved to laugh and brought a lot of joy to her family and friends. She was a devoted football fan. She loved the Lord, studied the Bible, and lived out her faith with a servant heart. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Matteson, and her daughter, Donna Short.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Vojak, Danette and Jeff Johnson, Steve and Bridget O’Keefe Matteson, Mike Short; grandchildren, Anne and Jon Brand, Andrew and Amanda Vojak (Blake), Nathan and Leah Johnson (Everett, Pennelope), Abigail and Timothy II Kennon (Olivia, Timothy III), Hannah and Austin Owens (Malachi, Olive), Aaron and Morgan Johnson (Peter), Amanda Matteson, Joanna Matteson; and her nieces and nephews.
A private committal service is being planned by family in Gibson Cemetery.
