Rebecca Gonzalez, age 79, of Holland, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Rebecca was born in Donna, Texas to the late Guadalupe and Dolores Quintanilla. She was a homemaker and raised her children between multiple states as the family traveled for work. She had a great sense of humor and an easy smile. She enjoyed life to the fullest and lived life “one day at a time”. She was a woman of strength and faced every challenge in life head on, never giving up. Everyone in the family knew Rebecca for her hospitable and respectful ways of treating others and she passed those traits on to her family. She instilled hard work ethic and faith into her children. She was always teaching, always guiding and always loving. Rebecca was loved by everyone that knew her and she will truly be missed.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Luis Gonzalez, in 2020. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services and interment will take place in Edcouch, Texas.
