HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 28, 2024) – It’s a coming out party of sorts for the Holland Department of Public Safety’s Fire Services on Tuesday evening.
From 5:30 to 8 PM, the public is invited to tour the new Waverly Fire Station (761 S. Waverly Rd.), near the junction of Waverly Road and East 32nd Street. The 21,000-square foot facility, built at a cost of $12.5 million, opened for use in May after 18 months of construction.
Holland Fire Marshal Bret Groendyke has been delighted with the five-bay complex ever since.
