Genevieve Jackson, age 87 of Holland, passed away September 14, 2024 at Holland Hospital.
Genevieve attended Central Wesleyan Church and New Community – Fourth Reformed Church. She served at Central Wesleyan as the lunch coordinator for funerals for many years. She enjoyed crochet, reading, and going to her cabin at Whiskey Creek in Custer, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson in 1990; brothers, Marvin Woudwyk, Willis Woudwyk, Ronald (Margaret) Woudwyk; sister, Evelyn (Earl) Niece; sister-in-law, Loraine Woudwyk; and grandson, Daniel Woudwyk.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Woudwyk, Janie (Mike) Avery, Tammie (Mitchell) Johnson, James Tharp; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Anthony Woudwyk, Marilyn (Conrad) Bastiaanse, Janice (Juan) Montes, Loretta (Lance) Riedsma, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will take place on Friday, September 20 from 6-8pm at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 144 W 32nd Street, Holland. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00am at Central Wesleyan Church – Chapel, 446 W 40th Street, Holland.
