ZEELAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 4, 2024) – Two women were injured, one critically, following a two-vehicle crash east of Holland on Wednesday afternoon.
No names were disclosed as first responders were dispatched to Adams Street and 84th Avenue at 12:19 PM. That was where a westbound SUV that had wanted to turn left went in front of an eastbound SUV, causing a collision.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, a 59-year-old Holland woman, was taken to an undisclosed hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but her passenger, an 86-year-old Grand Haven woman, was flown to Corewell-Butterworth Hospital in critical condition. The eastbound SUV driver, a 19-year-old Zeeland man, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
