Shirley Mae Potts, age 91, of Holland passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Resthaven Care Center.
Shirley was born in Holland, MI in year 1933 to John and Nellie (Lamar) Kuyers. She moved to Denver, Colorado and later Summerfield, FL.
She was a corporate Assistant for an oil company for many years. Both Shirley and her husband Al were members of the Sweet Adelines Chorale Group traveling all over the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Al” Potts.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Rev. Mark Waterstone will be officiating. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery.
