Shirley Schutt, age 67, of West Olive, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.
She is survived by her husband Steven; his children and grandchildren: Jeff and Somer Schutt, (Emma, Claira, Lila, and Asher) and Jillian Grosse (Jayden, and Reneah); her siblings: Sharon and John Weerstra, Joanne Mowrey, Pat and Troy Shoulders, and Beverly Vander Wilk; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Larry and Jan Schutt, Wanda Bailey, Dale Schutt, Diane and Ron Alferink, Tom Schutt, and Ron and Missy Schutt.
Shirely was preceded in death by her siblings: Paul Vander Wilk and Jan Wolters, and her brother-in-law Ken Schutt.
Shirley was a longtime member of Christ Memorial Church.
She was an astonishing wife and mother and an amazing nana. Shirley was a social butterfly and cared for everyone around her. She was always joyful and wore her heart on her sleeve. Shirley loved unconditionally and respected everyone she met. She was always grateful, she was a fighter even with her disabilities and she was a second mother, and sister to many.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. Shirley’s funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday, August 30, 2024, at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, Holland.
