GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 23, 2024) – A 34-year-old Grand Haven woman was seriously injured following a single-vehicle rollover crash south of Grand Haven on Friday morning.
No name was initially disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong following the incident that occurred around 9:15 AM on Lincoln Street between 152nd and 160th avenues. It appeared that an eastbound SUV veered to the left, went off the roadway, and rolled over several times before coming to rest. The single motorist in the vehicle was pinned in and had to be extricated by rescue workers. She was taken to an unnamed medical facility for treatment.
Wildfong didn’t go into the circumstances that led to the veering off and the crash as the incident remains under investigation.
