Jeanne Anne Nyhoff age 90, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 19, 2024, following several years of declining health.
Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family. Some activities that brought joy to Jeanne’s life include gardening, crocheting, puzzle making, watching baseball games, and listening to country gospel music; but her greatest joy was raising her children and spending time reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her 3 sisters and 3 brothers, a son-in law, Timothy Gabik, and her granddaughter Stephanie Harris.
She is survived by her children, Wayne and Sally Renkema of Hudsonville, Nancy and Alex Martinez of Gilbert, Arizona, Sandy and Dan Faber of Holland, Beverly and Bill Dunn of Saugatuck, Diane and Brian Sybesma of Holland, Marilyn and Dan Rietveld of Holland, Christine Gabik of Mesa, Arizona, Susan (Renkema) Reno of Holland, Deb and Barry Kammeraad of Holland, Jan and Frank Pelfrey of Holland, Kathy Nyhoff of Holland; 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street in Holland with Rev. Norma Hoek officiating. Visitation will be 4:30 – 6 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. A light supper will be served after the service.
Jeanne’s family would like to thank Resthaven Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for the loving and gentle care that was given to her in her last months of life.
