Meanwhile, at Wrigley Field, Joey Loperfido’s second inning homer accounted for all of the scoring, as Bowden Francis and Chad Green teamed on a four-hit, seven-strikeout shutout in the visiting Toronto Blue Jays’ 1-0 shutout of the Cubs yesterday.
