Born March 6, 1944, to be known for her fierce spirit, red hair and fiery love for family and friends, it is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Harris on May 9, 2024.
Kathy truly lived a life to the fullest with simple pleasures: Chatting with family and friends, organizing block parties with neighbors, sewing Halloween costumes, and cooking the biggest meals. As well as baking buttermilk cookies, all out Christmas decorating and creating the super-secret Birthday Elephant.
Kathy had the most beautiful gift of generosity. When you walked into her home, she immediately made you feel like you were a part of her family. She leaves behind her legacy of love forever and more.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 60 wonderful years, Lee and her children Cindy, Jill (Eric), Scott (Chara); grandchildren: Hannah, Harrison, and RJ; her sister: Toni; brother, Terri (Janelle); many nieces and nephews.
A future celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
