Born in Bristol Indiana, Robin eventually moved to Holland, where he worked as an eyelet tool and die maker for many years at Trans-Matic. He married Cheri Lemunyon in 1969, and together they had two children. Robin enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, farming, and always seemed to have a project he was working on. He liked to spend time with family and was also an avid reader in his downtime.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence A. Secor and Geneva Ellen Secor, and his sons Robin D. Secor and Douglas K. Secor, both of Elkhart, IN. He was also preceded by brother Barry Secor of Santa Monica, CA and sister Joy Kinnaird of Florida.
Robin is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cheri; his children Jason (Alysha) Secor of Greeley, CO, Karen Secor of Holland, as well as Allen Secor Sr. and Chuck Secor, both of Elkhart, IN. He is also survived by sisters Diana (Dave) Thiele-Anderson of Baroda, MI, Nedra (Sam) Hadous of Northville, MI; and brother Kenneth (Sharon) Secor of White Pigeon, MI. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Robin will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Lakewood Cemetery – 2197 W Lakewood Blvd. Holland, MI 49424.
