Ruth A. Brouwer, age 95 of Holland completed her earthly journey and was welcomed into her heavenly home and Savior’s arms on Monday, March 18, 2024.
She is survived by her children: Rosemary and John Baumann, and Larry and Brenda Brouwer; her grandchildren: Brent and Lynn Baumann, Shelly and Steve Koeman, and Dustin Brouwer: her great grandchildren and great great granddaughters: Avery and Noah Roelofs (Sadie), Mya Baumann, Leah and Bryce De Roo (Elianna), Megan Koeman, Ashley Koeman, Macy Koeman, and Brooke Koeman; her siblings: Joyce Jacobs, Lois Immink, Judy Windemuller, Sharon and Rick De Haan, Paul and Marie Jacobs, David and Cindy Jacobs, Arlene Morley, and Arlene Koeman; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Nancy Brouwer, Arlene Blaukamp, Theodore Brouwer.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Hollis in 2016. Ruth was a gifted quilter and seamstress.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday, March 22, 2024, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. Ruth’s funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Harlem Reformed Church, 6854 144th Ave, Holland. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Compassionate Heart Ministries.
