At the women’s competition in Holland’s DeVos Fieldhouse, the Calvin Knights battle the Trine Thunder, followed by Hope entertaining Albion, with coverage of the Flying Dutch nightcap from Greg Chandler around 7:15 PM on 99 7/1450 WHTC.
Grand Valley State swept a basketball doubleheader from visiting arch-enemy Ferris State last night in Allendale. Paige Vanstee had 17 points as the Lakers won the women’s opener, 63-38. Britain Harris tallied 23 points as the men topped the Bulldogs in the nightcap, 87-77. GVSU’s teams host the Lake Superior State Lakers at the Fieldhouse Arena tomorrow afternoon.
