LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two former staffers of ex-state House Speaker Lee Chatfield are facing financial crime charges.
Attorney General Dana Nessel announced the charges against Anne and Robert Minard, who worked as Chatfield’s director of external affairs and chief of staff, respectively.
The former House speaker was not charged but remains under investigation for other alleged crimes.
Nessel says the Minards embezzled from several nonprofit and political action groups.
