I worked with Jean at the Herrick District Library. I loved working with Jean, our conversations almost always was about family and our love for our cats. She was so proud of her niece Christine publishing books and becoming well known for her beautiful clothing patterns. She was equally proud of her nephew Scott and his love for Culinary Arts and working in the restaurant industry. Her love for her sister Nancy and Nancy’s love for her older sister was so tender besides the fact that they looked like twins, only separated by a few years.
I loved that Jean started up our theatre group. We went out with our Audiovisual family which always included Nancy and other friends. We would meet after work for dinner at a restaurant and then see a play at the Hope Collage Repertory Theatre. These are good memories.
Working with Jean taught me alot about knowing the signs of distress when you are diabetic like Jean and I am thankful for that. I really did love Jean and knowing her has made me a better person. ❤️
