BEIJING (Reuters) – China urges Estonia to abide by the “one China” principle, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday, in response to media reports that the Chinese ambassador is threatening to leave Estonia if Taiwan opens a representative office in the Baltic country.
Taiwan must not be allowed to set up any official institutions, ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a regular news conference.
