A confluence of circumstances kept me away from Holland this past weekend.
First, I had to get back into play-by-play harness for the Saugatuck High football game at Galesburg-Augusta this past Friday (Oct. 6). That took a little out of me, and the weather didn’t really cooperate over the weekend, either. So, here’s comes Monday, and although a strong autumnal wind was blowing, it was OK to stoll around downtown and take some photos of the pumpkins that were crafted by some masters for Fall Fest. The works of art (and they are art) were great to see up close and personal, and it may be around for a little while this month…unless some wise guys decide to do some pumpkin smashing for kicks.
Anyway, glad to be back at least posting a little here!
