(Reuters) – Tropical storm Philippe has made landfall in Barbuda, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday.
The hurricane is about 40 miles (65 km) north of Antigua, and is carrying maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour (85 kph), the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
