BEIJING (Reuters) – The former head of China’s religious affairs regulator has been arrested on suspicion of taking bribes, the official Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported on Monday.
The Supreme People’s Procuratorate made the decision to arrest Cui Maohu, former director of the State Administration of Religious Affairs, a few days ago, Xinhua reported, without giving further details of the allegations.
